Exide Technologies is searching for a full-time Maintenance Technician with strong PLC programing skills to integrate our machinery with manufacturing tracking systems. This position is also responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility programmable equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. This job will be specialized in electrical/controls and programing related work. Must have Industrial electrical knowledge, and strong Mechanical abilities. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems in fast paced, automated manufacturing environment.

An AA degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance a plus with 4+ years of manufacturing experience
PLC programming experience required
Preferred to have strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
Knowledge of Computer Aided Design programs
Ability to Create, Draw and Read Machine related drawings with emphasis towards electric controls
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
